Meet Seng

Hi, I'm Seng, owner and stylist at Lawt Hair Salon.

I was born in Myanmar, and I've loved doing hair for as long as I can remember: for my friends, my family, even my teachers. In 2016 I began my professional training in a salon, working long hours and running a mobile hair service on the side. That's when I knew I could never live without doing hair.

​

In 2021 I came to Canada with two changes of clothes and 52 kilograms of hair tools. I studied at MC College in Edmonton, and while studying I started a mobile business called Emma Hair Service. If you know me as Emma, you were one of my very first clients, and I'm so grateful for you.

​

In October 2022 I opened Lawt Hair Salon Studio in a small apartment. Thanks to the most loyal, supportive clients anyone could ask for, it grew into our new home on St. Thomas Street in downtown St. Albert. Today I specialize in hair extensions, using the 4D Brazilian and Feather methods, along with colour, cuts and smoothing treatments.

My mission is simple: every woman deserves to feel beautiful and valued, without breaking the bank. Women give so much to their families and communities, and I want my chair to be the place where you take care of yourself.
